BOMP League Owners

STEVE HALL

Division: Cottman

Career Record: 10-15-1
Playoff Appearances: 0
Championships: 0

2015 Outlook:
Hallsy joined the BOMP League in 2013, replacing Jenkins as franchise owner. Jenkins left the league after being punched in the balls by PTiggy at a Leneghan's reunion. Hallsy took over a team devoid of top end talent, but has managed to field a respectable team for 2015, with a lot of young talent. If Justin Forsett can repeat last years campaign, Hallsy will be trotting out Lacy, Hill and Forsett, which will be difficult for teams to match up with.

DUCK

Division: Cottman

Career Record:
36-27-2
Playoff Appearances: 4
Championships: 2

2015 Outlook:
Winning consecutive championships in 2013 and 2014, Duck has become the gold standard for not only his spectacular head of hair, but also his fantasy football acumen. Duck returns essentially the same team that knocked off Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck in last years title run. The only question in 2015 for Duck is roster depth, as any serious injuries (Looking at you Dez Bryant...) could derail any attempt at a 3rd consecutive title. However, the top end talent on Ducks team is scary, which should lead to another competitive season.

JOHN ROSE

Division: Cottman

Career Record: 39-26
Playoff Appearances: 5
Championships: 1

2015 Outlook:

John Rose has piled up impressive regular season win totals in the BOMP league, but has fallen short most years in the playoffs. He is like a skinny version of Andy Reid, except for the fact that people actually like Andy Reid. (Just saying, Andy Reid probably had more than 5 people on his bachelor party.) The Meat Wallets are always a threat to win the championship, this year being no different. The only thing in the way of John and a second BOMP Championship in 2015 may be the fact that he drafted Larry Donnel over every other Tight End available. He had 2 good games ever man!
JENKINS

Division: Cottman

Career Record: 16-9-1
Playoff Appearances: 1
Championships: 0

2015 Outlook:
Jenkins has owned 2 franchises in the modern BOMP League, plus 1 franchise in the older BOMP league. His 3 teams owned is far and away a record, as no other owner has owned more than one franchise! With his love of spreadsheets, Jenkins rivals  Sam Hinkie in Microsoft Excel prowess. However, all that number crunching has left the Jenkins family without a BOMP championship. 2015 shapes up to be challenging for Jenkins, as he left the draft with more than 20% of his available cap space still in his pocket. Having a stud WR in Julio Jones certainly helps, but the 66$ in Cap space may come back to haunt him. Jenkins also passed up a golden opportunity to draft his distant relative, Austin Rastafarian Jenkins, who instead went to Steve Hall (whose franchise...you guessed it...was once owned by Jenkins!)
PAT MURPHIN

Division: Cottman

Career Record: 23-16
Playoff Appearances: 3
Championships: 0

2015 Outlook:

Pat Murphin entered the BOMP league in a partnership with Harry Whitaker. As a team, they managed to bend every single rule known to man. Pat blamed Harry for all the cheating, but once Harry quit after 2013 and the cheating continued, everyone knew who the mastermind was. Even with all the cheating, this franchise still has not won the big one, mostly in part due to a series of disastrous GM moves. Pat Murphin moved on from Peyton Manning this year, leaving a big question mark at the QB position. Murphin is hoping the noodle arm Manning displayed in the playoffs last year is a sign the perennial fantasy MVP is done. Will this move be another of the disastrous GM moves Murphin has made in the past? Demarco Murray, Andrew Luck, Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski have all gone on to be studs on other peoples teams. Will we be adding manning to this list? No wonder he needs to be  massaged by Big Xerxes before bed every night!
FORREST

Division: Frankford

Career Record: 30-34-1
Playoff Appearances: 3
Championships: 0

2015 Outlook:

Forrest's team has experienced a lot of ups and downs over the past five seasons. Forrest has made the playoffs in 2010, 2012 and 2014, but only won 3 games in both 2011 an 2013. Does this trend continue in 2015? Considering his keepers were Andy Dalton, Alfred Blue and Mohammed Sanu, chances are good. Don't count out the Kiwk-e-Mart Gougers yet, as Forrest used a phone app to draft his team this year, which may actually be an improvement over years past.
CRAIG KENTZ

Division: Frankford

Career Record: 34-31
Playoff Appearances: 4
Championships: 1

2015 Outlook:

When he is not busy trying to build a clubhouse or slinging 4K TVs and mattresses, Craig is playing in BOMP Championship games. Going 1-2 so far in the big game, Craig is basically playing with house money. Known for big splashes in the draft, Craig has paid both Adrian Peterson and Calvin Johnson salaries over 70$. The past two seasons, Craig has shown up at the draft with only 30$ or so, but has still managed to stay extremely competitive. Biggest challenge for 2015? Not getting fired on his day off.
POOS KENTZ

Division: Frankford

Career Record: 27-25
Playoff Appearances: 3
Championships: 0

2015 Outlook:

After making the playoffs each of his first 3 seasons in BOMP, Poos took a step back with a 4-9 season in 2014. The Cleveland Steemers, not a franchise known for change, adopted a brand new strategy for 2015: Injured players. Its a bold strategy Cotton! Jordy Nelson, Kelvin Benjamin, Arian Foster, Kevin White, and CJ Spiller were all drafted or retained by Poos, and all five players started the season injured. This move could pay off big time in 2016 as some of the stud players came at a discount, however, 2015 looks like it could be a long season for the team without any ACLs. Prediction: Poos acquires Sam Bradford before the trade deadline.
MIKE D

Division: Frankford

Career Record: 28-37
Playoff Appearances: 1
Championships: 0

2015 Outlook:

It has been tough going for Mike D in the BOMP league. With only 1 playoff appearance in 5 seasons, Mike D made some  big moves this offseason, unloading Adrian Peterson in a deal that brought him Peyton Manning and LeSean McCoy. QBs traditionally lead teams to BOMP league glory, so Mike D didn't just settle for adding Manning; he also added Drew Brees in the draft. Two perennial top ten QBs on one team? Things could be worse. The big questions is weather Manning and/or Brees are still top ten QBs. If both play extremely well early on, look for Mike D to try and trade one to a team searching for answers at the QB position.
PTIGGY

Division: Frankford

Career Record: 35-30
Playoff Appearances: 4
Championships: 0

2015 Outlook:

PTiggy parted ways with longtime QB Drew Brees this off-season, opting instead to go with a Rapist and a Cheater at the helm of The Commodores. The move could pay off, as it saved PTiggy a ton of cap space. It will be a while before we can tell if spending all that cap space on rookies Amari Cooper and Ameer Abdullah will pay off. The biggest challenge for PTiggy in 2015? Serving as Commodore of the BOMP League and answering 20 texts every Sunday from Pat Murphin regarding some stupid rule he made up.
